Booking Buttons

A Booking Button refers to the Book Now code generated for a specific product or category, which can be used across various digital media.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Booking Button code can be embedded on websites, marketing email templates, mobile apps, QR codes and other digital media.

Certain elements of the Book Now button can be customized (e.g., background color, font color, button text).

The Booking Button can be accessed via More > Guest Facing > Booking Button on the left hand-side menu.

A Booking Button can be created for any available option in Widget 1.0 or Widget 2.0.

Widget 1.0

1. Product

Generates a Book Now button for a specific product within the available product types (Experiences, Restaurants, Rentals).

Example: Aromatherapy Massage

Note:

Services are not available in Widget 1.0 (Services appear only in Widget 2.0).

2. Category

Generates a button for a specific product category.

Example: Spa Experiences

Notes:

  • In Widget 1.0 only Product Categories are available.

  • Multilevel Categories and Group of Categories are supported only on Widget 2.0.

To learn more about product categories, click on the following link How to create and use Product Categories.

3. Transfers

Creates a Book Now button specifically for Transfers.

Note:

Transfers are available only on Widget 1.0.

Widget 2.0 (NEW)

1. Product

Generates a Book Now button for a specific product within the available product types (Experiences, Restaurants, Rentals, Services).

Example: Aromatherapy Massage

Notes:

  • Transfers are not listed under Product. They appear under Category, but only after a product category for Transfers has been created.

  • Services are available only in Widget 2.0.

2. Category

Generates a Book Now button for a specific category.

Example: Spa Experiences, Wellness, Gastronomy

Notes:

  • Widget 2.0 supports more category types: Product Categories, Groups of Categories and Multilevel Categories.

  • For Transfers, a product category must be created first to appear as an option.

To learn more about the different type of categories, click on the following link How to create a multilevel widget.

Configuring the Booking Button

Product

Select a Product type (Experiences, Restaurants, Rentals, Services) and then the product.

Note:

Services appear only on Widget 2.0.

Category

Select a Category type (Product, Groups, Multilevel) and then the specific category.

Note:

  • Widget 1.0 supports only product categories.

  • Widget 2.0 supports all category types: Product, Group and Multilevel categories.

Button Text

Enter the text displayed on the button.

Example: BOOK NOW

Languages

Adjust the text on the widget for each enabled language.

When a language is selected (e.g., English), the system automatically adds the corresponding language parameter to the booking button code or URL. This ensures that when the specific language is selected on the website, the widget content displays in the selected language.

Note:

Language options shown depend on the languages enabled in the My Company > Settings > General Settings.

Referral Source (Widget 2.0 only)

Allows tracking the origin of bookings.

  • Enter a source identifier (letters and numbers only, no spaces).

  • The system adds this parameter automatically to the booking button code and URL.

Examples: Website, MobileApp, ReceptionQR, emailCampaignJune2026

Note:

Bookings made through this button can be tracked under the Referral Source column in the Bookings table.

Selecting the Booking Button option

Option #1: Book button with embedded availability functionality

Use this option to embed the Book Now button directly on a website.

Instructions:

  1. Select Option #1: Book button with embedded availability functionality.

  2. Copy both codes provided:

    • Code #1: Place anywhere on the webpage.

    • Code #2 (generic script): Insert once per site, preferably in the footer.

Notes:

  • Code #2 (generic script) is required only once, even if multiple booking buttons are used.

  • Code #1 can be placed anywhere as long as Code #2 is present.

Option #2: Book button with external url

Generates a direct URL for the selected product or category.

Use this for:

  • Email templates

  • Mobile apps

  • QR codes

  • Any digital media requiring a link rather than embedded functionality

Simply copy the generated URL under Option #2: Book button with external url and paste it into the desired channel.

To preview the Product or Category that has been selected, click on the BOOK NOW button displayed under each option.
