iHost is a table reservation software that various businesses use to manage their restaurant bookings.
The integration between iHost and Triparound streamlines the process for restaurant reservations by sharing the restaurant’s availability directly from iHost to Triparound and sending automated notification emails to customers and guest-facing departments.
How it works
Once the integration is activated, restaurant(s) that are managed by your business will be automatically imported into the Triparound system under product type Restaurants.
Following this, the business can start receiving and making restaurant bookings through the Triparound platform.

More information about the integration
Restaurant availability: Availability in Triparound is received automatically and in real time from i-host. Any changes made to a restaurant’s availability in iHost will be instantly reflected in Triparound’s availability.
Bookings created on the iHost environment: Bookings created directly on the i-host platform (not through the Triparound platform) will not appear in Triparound.
Booking status: Bookings made through Triparound are automatically confirmed. The status of each booking can be changed from within the Triparound platform, resulting in the changes depicted in iHost as well. When a booking status changes, the availability in Triparound and iHost interface is equally affected. Therefore the concierge team can manage all the restaurant bookings through Triparound, and the F&B team will always be up to date just by looking at their iHost platform.
Canceled bookings on the iHost environment: If a booking originating from Triparound is canceled on the i-host platform, the change is automatically reflected on the Triparound platform as well.
Notifications: The customer and the designated recipients from within the business will receive email notifications pertaining to the booking.
Editable fields in the setup menu of the Restaurants when the integration has been enabled:
Restaurant name
Location (Meeting Point)
Content & Media > Media (The photo that will be visible to the guest if the restaurant is booked online).

How to start
Contact your Customer Success Manager and provide the name and the ID of the restaurant(s) to be imported into Triparound. The restaurant name and the ID can be sourced from the i-host interface.
As both i-host and Triparound send automated email notifications (for booking requests and booking status changes), it is crucial that your Customer Success Manager is informed about which platform will be used to send the email notifications - Triparound or iHost.
