To get the most out of Triparound and create a smooth experience for both teams and customers, it is essential to thoroughly test everything configured in the platform.

Whether adding new data, launching new products or updating existing setups, careful testing ensures products are bookable, itineraries are displayed correctly and operations run smoothly.

Tips:

  • Always use the Preview function when setting up new products to ensure all components of the product are configured correctly and that the booking process runs smoothly.

  • Before publishing new products, updating pricing, adjusting availability or modifying automations, setups should be tested using real-life scenarios. Even small changes can impact the guest journey.

Testing reduces risks and can make the difference between a successful launch and unexpected issues during the booking process.

1. Ensures products are functional and displayed correctly

Previewing products on the widget before making them available to customers allows for fine-tuning and helps eliminate guest-facing issues. This ensures that customers receive accurate information and have a consistent experience.

Products can be easily previewed through the Preview button available on the right-hand side within each product.

The Preview button within each product can be used to verify:

  • Availability matches operational Schedules

    To preview the product's availability navigate to the relevant section of the booking process on the widget.

  • Pricing and add-ons appear correctly

    To preview the product's pricing and add-ons navigate to the relevant section of the booking process on the widget.

  • Content & Media appear as intended

    To preview the product's Content & Media navigate to the relevant section on the widget.
