Once a booking is made through the hotel’s booking engine (e.g. WebHotelier), a customer profile will be automatically created within the Triparound system. The business will have access to the customer data under Customers > Guest Profile.
Additionally, the option to send automated marketing emails to customers once they have booked their room in order to promote the booking of additional products (Experiences, Restaurants, Transfers, Rentals, Services) will be provided.
The Room Booking Engine is available on the left hand-side menu under More > Integrations.
How it works
Currently, the only available Room Booking Engine option is WebHotelier.
Activate the integration with the Room Booking Engine by turning on the Integration activated option.
Then, enter your WebHotelier company code.
Once done, send an email to support@webhotelier.net - copying tech.support@triparound.com - with the Triparound delivery URL and request the finalization of the API connection with Triparound.
Automated marketing mail: Activate this functionality and select the email template in order for an automated marketing email to be sent to the customer upon completion of the room booking.
Note:
Email templates can be created by navigating to More > Marketing > Emails > Templates.
