When setting up email services for your business, you may want emails sent from the Triparound platform to appear as if they are coming directly from your company (e.g., no-reply@yourhotel.com).
This ensures that emails sent from the Triparound platform use your company's own domain, rather than the default email address from Triparound. This not only strengthens your brand’s identity but also helps ensure that emails are trusted by recipients and are less likely to be flagged as spam.
While the steps are straightforward, you may need your IT team’s help to make changes to your domain settings. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to complete this process.
Step 1: Contact us to initiate the process
Before you can authenticate your domain, you will need to reach out to us by contacting your Customer Success Manager. Provide us with the domain name (e.g., yourhotel.com) and the email sender name (e.g., the hotel name). Upon receiving this information, we will generate and share the necessary DNS records (CNAME records) that need to be added to your domain.
Step 2: We provide you with the DNS records
Once the required details are provided, we will send you a file containing the specific DNS records (CNAME records). These records need to be added to your domain’s DNS settings to authenticate your domain.
Step 3: Add the records to your DNS settings
The next step is to add the provided CNAME records to your domain’s DNS settings. While this process is straightforward, your IT team may need to assist in making these changes. Simply reach out to them and let them know they need to add these CNAME records into your DNS settings.
Step 4: Reach out to us to finalize the process
Once the DNS records have been added, please contact us to inform us and finalize the process. We will authenticate your email domain and update the sender address to reflect your company's email (e.g., no-reply@yourhotel.com).
