Export functionality

Learn how datasets can be exported from the Triparound dashboard.

Updated this week

The Export functionality in the Triparound dashboard enables efficient extraction of data for reporting, analysis, accounting, or internal documentation. The system is designed to handle both small and large datasets seamlessly, automatically determining the appropriate delivery method based on the number of records included in the export.

Depending on the size of the dataset, the exported file will either:

  • Download instantly to the user’s computer, or

  • Be processed and delivered via email to the registered address

This approach ensures consistent performance, even when exporting large volumes of data.

How to export data

To export data, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the table you want to export (e.g., Bookings, Products, Customers, or Transactions).

  2. Click the Export button located on the right-hand side of the table.

  3. Define the preferred file name.

  4. Click Export.

Delivery based on record count

  • Fewer than 1,000 records
The export is generated and downloaded instantly.

  • More than 1,000 records
The file is processed in the background and sent as an email attachment to the registered email address, while it is also saved in the Exports tab.

An automated message will also appear in the dashboard to inform that delivery will take place via email.

File Formats

Exports are generated in:

  • CSV

  • XLSX (Excel)

Important note:

The export limit for Bookings and Transactions is 10,000 records.

Bookings Exports: What you need to know

Within the Bookings table, two export options are available:

1. Single Sheet Export

  • Generates one sheet

  • Includes data for all selected products

2. Per Product Export

  • Generates multiple sheets

  • Each sheet contains data for one product

When Per Product Export is selected:

  • The file format generated is XLSX.

  • A maximum of 10 products can be selected.

  • If more than 10 products are selected, the export cannot proceed and an automated message prompts the user to adjust the selection before attempting the export again.

Where large exports are stored

Exports containing more than 1,000 records are stored in My Company > Exports.

This section displays all large exports generated by the logged-in user and provides centralized access to previously created files.

From the Actions menu (located on the right-hand side of each export entry), the following actions are available:

  • Download the file again

  • Delete the export
