The Guest App login ensures secure access by the guest to their personal itinerary details, while enabling the Business to apply flexible and scalable practices using the static Guest App link.
Since the Guest App link is no longer tied to a specific guest, it can be distributed more widely via email, messaging platforms, SMS, websites, QR codes or social media.
Important:
This feature is available only if a PMS integration is activated, the Itineraries feature is used, or an integration with Verity is enabled.
How to set up
Step 1: Navigate to More > Guest Facing > Guest App and proceed to the Login settings under the Settings tab.
Step 2: Enable the validation on the Guest app.
Step 3: Select the required login fields that guests must enter to authenticate.
Example: Last name and reservation ID.
Notes:
The Guest and Reservation property field options appear only when the Itineraries feature is available on the account.
Room number can be selected only if a PMS integration is activated and a room number is available.
Step 4: After the completion of the above steps, the system will automatically generate a static Guest App link. This link can be shared with customers via email, SMS, messaging platforms, websites, QR codes, social media, etc.
Step 5: Based on the selected validation fields, a login page will appear when a guest accesses their Guest app. Upon successful validation, guests will gain access to their personalized Guest App, with their itinerary and booking details.
Using the Remember me feature will allow your customers to access their guest app without having to pass validation each time.
