Multiple discounts may be required when different promotional rules apply to the same product. For example, a seasonal discount may be available to all guests, while an additional discount is offered exclusively to club members.
There are several ways to configure this setup depending on business requirements. Choosing the appropriate approach can simplify discount management, support seasonal and membership-based promotions, and provide greater flexibility when pricing strategies change over time.
Example Scenario
A service is offered at a standard price of €100 throughout the year.
During July and August:
All guests receive a 10% discount
Club members receive an additional 20% discount
Two configuration options are available as described below.
Option 1: Manage promotions through discounts

How to set it up
Step 1: Create the base discount
Create a discount for the 10% seasonal promotion available to all guests.
1. Navigate to More > Marketing > Discounts from the left-hand menu.
2. Create a 10% discount and associate it with the product.
Note: Select the appropriate discount category based on the product's requirements:
Offer
Participant Offer
Session Offer
Transaction Offer
Step 2: Create the club member discount
Create an additional 20% discount for club members.
To restrict the discount to eligible members:
Create the additional discount under More > Marketing > Discounts.
Select Coupon or Transaction Coupon as the discount category.
Navigate to More > Marketing > Coupons and create a coupon to be associated with the specific discount.
Share the coupon code with club members.
Option 2: Manage promotions through pricing
Recommended when:
Pricing changes are seasonal
Rates should adjust automatically based on booking date
Promotional periods are planned in advance

This approach is recommended when member discounts should be managed through the Discounts functionality.
Configuration:
Create a 20% discount and associate it with the €90 pricing element under More > Marketing > Discounts.
Select Coupon as the discount category.
Create a coupon and associate it with the specific discount under More > Marketing > Coupons.
Share the coupon code with club members.
Additional club member discount via manual price adjustment
This approach is suitable for occasional or exceptional cases where member discounts do not need to be automated.
Configuration:
Open the booking
Select Edit pricing
Select Edit net price
Note:
When using manual price adjustments, an informational message may be added under Content & Media > Presentation and Settings & Policies > Terms & Conditions > Widget booking information to inform guests during the booking process that an additional discount is available for club members at the service desk.
