It is common for products - such as spa services, transfer services or other experiences - to be created in one account (e.g., a Supplier or Business account) and then shared across multiple Business accounts. While this allows for centralized product management, each Business often needs the ability to apply its own pricing strategies and promotions.
A typical example is a spa facility shared across multiple hotel properties.
The spa services may be created and maintained by a single Supplier or Business, but each hotel (Business account) may want to:
Offer exclusive discounts to its own guests
Run seasonal promotions (e.g., summer wellness offers)
Provide loyalty or VIP deals
Because pricing and promotions are managed independently at the Business account level, coupons do not carry over when a product is shared. This is where the Transaction Coupon feature becomes essential - it allows each Business to create and manage its own discounts for the same shared product, without affecting other accounts.β
How to set it up
To set up a coupon for a product shared with the Business by another account (Business or Supplier) follow the below steps:
Step 1: Create a Discount
Go to the Discounts section in your Business account
Create a new discount
Select Transaction Coupon as the discount category
Step 2: Create a Coupon
Create a new coupon
Link it to the discount created in Step 1
Configure the coupon details (e.g., code, validity, usage limits) as needed
