Creating and managing user accounts in Triparound

Ensure secure access, clear user accountability and accurate activity tracking by creating a separate Triparound account for each user with their own unique email address.

To ensure security, accurate user management and proper access control, every Triparound user must have their own individual user account associated with a unique email address.

Using unique email addresses provides several benefits:

  • Clear identification of each user

  • Improved account security and accountability

  • Accurate activity tracking and audit history

  • Easier user onboarding and offboarding

  • Reliable communication and password recovery

  • Prevention of account-sharing and access conflicts

Important

Shared or generic email addresses (for example, [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected]) must not be used for multiple users.

Each user must have:

  • Their own Triparound account

  • Their own unique email address

  • Their own login credentials

When a staff member leaves and a replacement joins, the existing Triparound account must not be reassigned to another individual. Instead:

  • Deactivate the departing user's account

  • Create a new user account for the replacement employee

  • Use the replacement employee's unique email address

  • Assign the appropriate permissions and access levels

Do Not

  • Change the name on an existing account to another person's name

  • Share login credentials between employees

  • Reuse an existing account for a different individual

  • Use a common or generic email address for multiple users


New users

When a new employee requires access to Triparound:

Step 1: Obtain the employee's individual business email address.

Step 2: Create a new Triparound user account using that email address.

Step 3: Assign the appropriate permissions and access levels based on the employee's role.

Step 4: Ask the user to activate their account and create a password.


Existing users

Users who already have a Triparound account can update their personal information at any time.

Step 1: Log in to the platform using the existing account credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the user icon on the right-hand side and click My Profile.

Step 3: Update the First Name, Last Name and Phone Number, if required, and SAVE.

Step 4: If needed, click Change Password.

Changing the password helps protect the account from unauthorized access.

Tip

Use a unique password that has not been used previously.

Step 5: In the pop-up window, complete the required fields and click SAVE.

Step 6: Log in to the platform, using the new password.


Resetting user password

If access to the Triparound account is required but the password is no longer known, and access to the email address associated with the account is available, the password can be reset using the Forgot Password option.

Step 1: Navigate to apps.triparound.com

Step 2: Enter the email address associated with the Triparound account and click Forgot Password?

Step 3: On the page that appears, enter the email address again and click RESET PASSWORD.

Step 4: Follow the instructions provided in the password reset email.

Step 5: Create a new password and complete the reset process.

Step 6: Log in to Triparound using the newly created password.

Tip

Use a strong, unique password that has not been used previously.
