After Tickets have been created for an experience or event, each participant is assigned a ticket containing a unique QR code that can be scanned using the Triparound Scanner app during check-in.
Each ticket is also assigned a Check-in status that indicates its current stage in the check-in process, making it easy to monitor attendee arrivals and identify whether a ticket is awaiting check-in, has already been scanned, or is no longer valid.
Ticket check-in statuses
There are three ticket check-in statuses available in the Triparound dashboard.
1. Awaiting check-in
The Awaiting check-in status is automatically assigned when a ticket is created (that is, when the booking is confirmed). It indicates that the ticket is valid and the attendee has not yet checked in.
Note: This status can also be assigned manually by clicking the Check-in status in the Tickets table.
2. Checked-in
The Checked-in status is automatically assigned when the ticket is successfully scanned, confirming the attendee's arrival and granting access to the booked experience.
Note: This status can also be assigned manually by clicking the Check-in status in the Tickets table.
3. Cancelled booking
The Cancelled booking status is automatically assigned when the associated booking is cancelled. In this case tickets are no longer valid and cannot be used for check-in.
Where the check-in status is displayed
