Refer to “inanimate objects” that may be required to implement/fulfil the Experience, Rental or Transfer.

Resources are “inanimate objects” that may be required to implement/fulfil the Experience, Rental or Transfer (e.g. a tennis court, a vehicle etc.).

Resources can be found within a specific product by navigating to Fundamentals > Resources.

Alternatively, resources can be found on the left-hand menu under More > Operators & Resources > Recourses.

Important notes:

  • For product type Experiences, resources should only be inserted in case the experience needs to be linked to the available resources and their individual availability.

  • For product type Transfers and Rentals, resources should be inserted in order for the product to be linked to the available resources and, if required, to their individual availability.

Note:

Activating the “Expose Resources” function (found within the product's Settings & Policies > Bookings section) allows customers to select the resource of their preference during the booking process (available only for Experiences) or can be allocated in the background by the system.

Example: For a tennis lesson, customers may have the option to choose the tennis court.


How to set it up

In the pop-up window that appears while creating a new resource, complete the fields as described further below. Fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory and cannot be skipped.

Name: Enter the name of the resource.

Example: For a car, enter the car‘s model/brand.

Type: Select the appropriate type of resource. Depending on the type of resource selected, additional fields may appear.

Note: For internal use only - not shown on widget.

Category: Select the resource’s category from the available options or create a new category.

Example: For cars the categories could be small, medium, large.

Note: Used in order to group the available resources into categories which will be displayed on the widget during the booking process.

Quantity: Enter the available number of resources.

Order: Enter the order in which you want the resource to be booked.

Note: The resources will be allocated automatically by the system according to the order entered.

Minimum Number of Participants: Enter the minimum number of participants that can use the resource.

Maximum Number of Participants: Enter the maximum number of participants that can use the resource.

Baggage: If “Vehicle” is selected in the Type field, enter the number of allowed baggage items per resource.

Child seats: If “Vehicle” is selected in the Type field, select if there will be child seats available on the resource.

Description: Enter a description of the resource.

Note: If the resource is used for “Rentals” or “Transfers”, then the description entered will be visible on the widget.

Products: Select the available product(s) from the list that will be linked to the resource.

Note: This applies in case the resource has been created through the More menu.

Media: Insert an image of the resource.

  • Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, png, svg

  • Maximum upload file size: 1 MB

  • Recommended sizes (in pixels): 1200 x 400

Note:

If the resource is used for Rentals or Transfers, then the image inserted will be visible on the widget.

Click SAVE once done.


You can preview the product by clicking on the Preview button.


Once you have configured Resources, you can move on to Schedules.
