The Sales Report offers a comprehensive and interactive view of the business sales performance over a selected period, highlighting key figures such as Sales, Expenses, Gross Profit and Net Profit. It also provides analytical tools to help teams evaluate performance across products and categories.
Adjusting the Report View
By default, the report displays data for the current month and includes bookings with the following statuses:
Confirmed
Arrived
No Show
Closed
All results are based on the Execution Date of the bookings.
The time frame can be adjusted using the calendar located at the top right-hand side of the page.
For more granular filtering, click the three dots next to the calendar to access Advanced Search options. After selecting the preferred filters, click Search to update the report.
Data Overview
1. Summary Metrics
The upper section of the report presents essential figures for the selected period, providing a quick overview of sales activity. These summary metrics include:
Total sales - The total sales generated during the selected period.
Completed and not cancelled transactions - The number of transactions that were successfully completed and not cancelled during the selected period.
Completed and not cancelled bookings - The number of individual sessions booked that were successfully completed and not cancelled during the selected period, including multiple sessions in a single transaction.
Booked activities - The total number of activities booked during the selected period.
These indicators offer an immediate understanding of sales performance at a glance.
Note:
Data for Total sales, Completed and not cancelled transactions, Completed and not cancelled bookings and Booked Activities can be exported to Excel using the corresponding export button.
2. Performance Snapshot
The Performance Snapshot highlights Sales, Expenses, Gross Profit and Net Profit. A graphical representation is also available, displaying total sales for each month within the selected period - typically illustrated as a column bar chart.
Data explained
Sales - The total revenue generated during the selected period.
Expenses - The total supplier costs made during the selected period.
Gross Profit - The gross income generated during the selected period.
Net Profit - The net income generated during the selected period.
This section helps users quickly assess key figures and performance shifts over time.
3. Pie Charts
To provide deeper insight, the report includes a series of pie charts illustrating sales distribution across key dimensions:
Sales per Product
Sales per Category
These charts help identify top-performing products and product categories.
