Why doesn't the supplier receive email notifications?

Learn why email notifications may not be sent to suppliers and how to resolve the issue.

1. The Supplier Agreement is not active

If a supplier reports that they are not receiving email notifications, first check whether their associated agreement is active.

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

Step 1: From the left-hand menu, navigate to Suppliers and select the relevant supplier by clicking their name.

Step 2: In the supplier's profile, locate the relevant agreement, click its status and select Active.

Once the agreement is activated, the supplier should receive email notifications for new bookings, provided the other required notification settings are correctly configured.

2. The "Send email notifications to Business and Suppliers" setting is disabled

If the supplier's agreement is active but they are still not receiving email notifications, check whether email notifications from Triparound to the Business and its Suppliers are enabled in the company communication settings.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Step 1: From the left-hand sidebar menu, navigate to More > Account > Company Settings.

Once this setting is enabled, the corresponding checkbox will be selected by default when creating bookings in the back-office and email notifications will be sent to the relevant supplier(s).

Email notifications will also be sent to the relevant supplier(s) for bookings made directly online by guests, provided the other required conditions are met.

3. The Supplier's email security or malware protection is blocking notifications

If the above have been configured correctly and the Supplier still does not receive notifications, their email security or malware protection software may be blocking emails sent by Triparound.

Some email security systems may flag automated notifications as suspicious and prevent them from reaching the supplier's inbox.

To troubleshoot the issue, ask the supplier to:

  • Check their Spam, Junk, or Quarantine folders.

  • Contact their IT team or email administrator to check whether Triparound emails are being blocked.

  • Add the relevant Triparound email address or domain to their email allowlist, if required by their email security system.

If the supplier still does not receive the email notifications after completing these checks, contact Triparound Support for further assistance.
